2. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide our services:

  • Contact information — first and last name, email address, phone number.
  • Service address — the home or apartment we clean for you.
  • Booking details — service type, date, time, bedroom/bathroom count, add-ons, preferred cleaner.
  • Payment information — processed and stored by Stripe, Inc. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Communications — emails or messages you send us.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, pages visited, collected automatically via cookies and analytics.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Schedule, confirm, and complete your cleaning appointments.
  • Send booking confirmations, reminders, and receipts via Resend (email provider).
  • Send booking-related text messages (SMS) via Twilio, only if you opt in.
  • Send occasional promotional text messages, only if you separately opt in to promotions.
  • Process payments through Stripe.
  • Respond to your questions and support requests.
  • Improve our website and services using aggregated analytics data.
  • Comply with applicable law.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We share data with vendors only to the extent needed to operate our business. These providers are contractually required to protect your data:

  • Stripe, Inc. — payment processing. stripe.com/privacy
  • Resend — transactional and marketing email delivery.
  • Vercel — website hosting and edge infrastructure.
  • Twilio — delivery of booking text messages. twilio.com/legal/privacy

5. Your Rights Under Texas Law (TDPSA)

If you are a Texas resident, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Deletion — request that we delete your personal data.
  • Opt-out of sale or targeted advertising — we do not sell data or use it for targeted advertising, but you may request confirmation.
  • Data portability — receive your data in a portable format.
  • Non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise these rights, email us at stesha.lug@gmail.com with subject line "Privacy Request." We respond within 45 days as required by the TDPSA.

6. Cookies

  • Strictly necessary — required for the booking wizard and session management. Cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics — help us understand how visitors use our site. No personally identifiable information is shared with analytics providers.

You can disable analytics cookies in your browser settings at any time.

7. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for adults (18+) who are the homeowners or authorized occupants. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

8. Data Retention

We retain your booking and contact information for up to 3 years to support service history and legal compliance. Payment records are retained as required by applicable tax law.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures including HTTPS encryption, access controls, and PCI-DSS-compliant payment processing via Stripe. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Email Communications (CAN-SPAM)

Transactional emails (booking confirmations, receipts) are sent as part of the service. If you receive marketing emails, every message includes an unsubscribe link. To opt out, click "Unsubscribe" in any email or contact us at stesha.lug@gmail.com.

11. Text Messages (SMS)

The booking form has two separate, optional text-message checkboxes. If you check the booking-updates box, we send SMS about that booking: confirmation, a reminder the day before, completion, and cancellation notices. If you check the promotions box, we may also send occasional offers (up to 4 per month), between 8 am and 9 pm. Consent to promotions is not a condition of purchase. Msg & data rates may apply. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from all information sharing described in this policy and will not be shared with any third parties.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or by a notice on our website. Continued use of our services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
